I knew something was gonna happen to the dude because of a few things...

First, I saw your flash Jerry Clouds before this,
Second, the way one of the plants didn't wither like the others during night,
And third, that same plant seemed to grow a bit every time I watered it and hit the pool for water. I really didn't wanna get closer to it when it got taller than me. I looked if I could maybe go past it somehow, lol. I'm gonna give you a detailed review.

Graphics: 4

Graphics are nothing special. It's beginner level stuff, but they get the job done. You see what's going on. I like the change in toning when you water the plants and when they dry, and little things, like the sun animation.

Sound: 6

Pretty simple, just music in the background and some sound effects. To the style of this game I don't think any more sounds are needed and the piano music fits the garden scene nicely.

Style: 6

I see you have a thing for plot twists and sudden scares. You use a theme where man manipulates nature and in the end, nature kills the man. I like the way both of the games I played ended the same way. You have a franchise going on here that can be expected in further productions.

Interactivity: 8

The player is in control of this game all the time, basically. Except for the few cutscenes, nothing happens if I don't move the guy around. On the other hand I'm disappointed there are only two buttons I can use. I would enjoy being able to use the whole keyboard and maybe have some action buttons. This is more like a movie with "play" buttons than a game now.

Violence: 4

Obviously you have to get to the end for some violence, and it was rather worth the wait. The blood spatters along with death constitute a 4 on this score.

Humor: 2

Most of the game I was bored to death waiting for the water tank to fill and trying to fill all the flowers, then it didn't get much better as I walked Baker to his actual death. I could see it coming a mile away unlike in Jerry Clouds.

Overall: 4

Sidescrolling simple, movie- like game with linear progression in both the events and gameplay.

Took me sweet time to get to the portal. The enemies run way too fast and the jump is too small. But the trick is to run through the first enemy and with 1 health remaining jump on the branch. Then you're home free. A clever idea. :)

Graphics: 3

I'm sure you could do better if you spent more than a few minutes on these so I won't go all out. If you're using a slow computer maybe these blocks move okay to you but you need to consider that people run faster CPU's and adjust the framerate.

Sound: 0

No sound.

Violence: 3

Apparently there's something getting killed here, a block since I can lose health and go back to the start.

Interactivity: 7

I can move back and forth as well as jump. Makes for a good interaction.

Humor: 3

Wasn't very fun at all, until I learned how to actually beat the game. It's actually quite fun, you think you can't pass it but then realize it's just possible. I like games like this. :)

Overall: 2

The only thing saving this from blam is that I realized it can be beat.

Wow, this is actually pretty neat! I like the physics on the ball. Some Pong games I've seen make the ball go very fast or act unexpectedly, but this ran very smoothly. I tried to see if I could use the side of the paddle to hit the ball into a horizontal spin, but no, it only hits it vertically. Still, nice programming. :)

Graphics: 2

Nonexistent graphics, just lines and a ball. But hey, it's Pong...

Sound: 0

Still, no sound...

Violence: 2

No violence, unless you count the constant slamming of the ball in high speed.

Interactivity: 7

Yet another game with much interaction. At first I thought it was crap, cause I kept losing at 100 points no matter what button I pressed. Then I realized you move the paddle WITH THE MOUSE. You should really add instructions to the start. It's not a big of a deal.

Humor: 1

Playing Pong solo gets dull very fast...

Overall: 4

The game is simple, but it works.

I got 86 laps by going back and forth on the finish line.

Graphics: 4

They're not really bad for a racing game. I can identify what is good terrain and what's not.

Sound: 0

Again, no sound. You should add some tunes to your games.

Violence: 0

No violence. Just a car- like thingy.

Interactivity: 8

Top- notch interactionable. You get to move the car any direction. Even in ways a real car wouldn't move. And I see you fixed the getting stuck off-screen- problem. If I go off now I just appear on the finish line.

Humor: 4

Mildly entertaining. If only there was a multiplayer so I could actually race against someone instead of a time trial.

Overall: 3

Unfortunately, the glitch in the lap counter ruins it all for this game. A promising concept but there's no point in racing if you can cheat to win.

I didn't get past the first stage. The lava explanation thing is a physical object that ironically causes me to fall into the lava below. Also I noticed you only jump when moving and sometimes never return when jumping off screen.

Graphics: 2

Graphics are dreadful, even by MY standards, and I like simple graphics. I can barely identify what the pictures represent. At least use some thicker paintbrush instead of pencil- drawn lines.

Sound: 0

There's no sound.

Violence: 3

The theme promises a lot of violence, but sadly, I wasn't able to play long enough to see any of it.

Interactivity: 7

It's a platformer, so there's lots of interaction involved.

Humor: 1

I wasn't at all pleased by the graphics and gameplay. I got stuck behind the screen and just frustrated at the lava sign preventing me from jumping!

Overall: 2

Actually, I should vote to blam this, but the errors in this game are clearly not made on purpose so I'll give you guys some slack.

Ok, it's a pretty nice Mario clone. It took me a while to get used to jumping as physics in the game felt a bit weird. There were some bugs:

I got to about the stage with the green pipes and seemingly had nowhere to go and jumped down. Then the music started again and I appeared on some oak colored tubing. I probably should have died, but my health was still the same and I had my 130+ coins still with me.

I kept playing and went up some tubes. Then I fell down again and suddenly I was in a limbo with some purple tubes. I was going up and down, not quite getting up from between them but not falling either. I hope you can fix those bugs and it would be a mildly entertaining game. :)

Graphics: 4

The art looks simple like not much work has been put into it but as a platformer, it really doesn't matter that much.

Sound: 3

There's just one loop stolen from some Mario Bros. game.

Violence: 2

There really isn't any violence, except that the rock-like enemies look angry and the portal looks like a circ saw.

Interactivity: 7

Duh, it's a platformer, I have to interact all the time! Only thing I hoped for was some button other than moving that did something.

Humor: 6

I was mildly amused by the simple graphics and gameplay. It's nice that someone dares to try old things to make something new.

Overall: 6

It's a simple game that can be played straight away, no reading instructions required.

fun but requires a fast pc

ok this is a freakin frustrating game if I ever saw one. first, it took me like 3 hours trying to pass this game to the last stage with my pc, at first. gameplay is quite fast but slows down real quick as there are more and more animatable people on the screen. well i got to last stage, but didn't know how to kill the boss, shot him in the eye, on the case, shot the light etc. then i restarted stage but the screen didn't load. only the background did. this may be just a bug in My pc, but i had to start the game all over again.

Fortunately, I passed through in about 20 mins byt enlargening the screen so that there was nothing but the game this time being processed by bmy pc. well, thats not over seeing I still didn't know how to kill the last guy. upon scrolling 22 pages of review - only to find "this is great game please make more" reviews and nothing of actually HELFUL - thank you very much, guys. and through walkthough sites, that said "oh im not gonna tell you how to pass level 13 hee hee" i finally got to this page saying you have to shoot the rope which is holding that metal bar when the guy is passing it so it crushes him. Whew!

after I had finished the dude , the game froze and completely crashed my browser. so I had to start over again and play the game through 3rd time

1 note on the AI as the last guy mentioned. it is indeed stupid to see rest of the street running like mad when u shoot someone BUT the next victim youre supposed to shoot. i see that it is so that when the shot hits them near enough they start running. it helps the aiming , sure, on diffciult missions, but still looks pretty stupid.

tip: the right target usually is the guy who's taking a smoke or stops walking early on.

i dont know what happens when the lab blows up all i hear is music. my browser really does crash at that point but im reading walkthoughs it is the end.

Graphics: 9

awesome, detailed work. the guys outfits could vary, though. or have details.

Sound: 10

dramatic. adds feeling that wouldn't exist normally making you feel when you read the text: This is wrong!

Style: 6

Obvioulsy you ripped off Quentin Tarantino. everuthing s the same, chracter themes, coloring, envronment. I dont respect it.

Interactivity: 10

lots and lots of clicking and moving the mouse. both fast-paced and accurate, needing patience.

Violence: 10

its based on violence entirely.

Humor: 4

well there ar more tad bits flying around in the form of dark humor jokes and falling/flying heads. always enjoyed de-jawing that reverend!

(Cummability: 6

some guys could get huge boners on the adult store advertisements seen in stages. particularly 1 or 2 females in neon lights look HOT! i gotta tell ya, everyhting but the butane lighter fluid is correct, us men really are B@stards!)

Overall: 8

its a dark sniper set into a dark Sin City world.

ArifRocks responds:

I understand your concerns about the freezing and the AI. It was an experimental first game and all the issues you've raised will (hopefully!) be corrected in the new one so there'll be plenty to look forward to. Although I think the Tarantino references are totally coincidental. This game was more inspired by The Crow and Sin City. :)

Nice game

Graphics: 8

Graphics are cartoony. mostly dark and red colors with nice shading. the robot parts are nicely animated.

Style: 7

Yeah, ok. at first I didn't like it I thought "OMG this is gay!" but then when i saw how u can add a background and have all those killer bad-ass weapons I tohugh "Hey, this is cool". i didnt get through nearly all of the parts for any body type either.

Sound: 10

It gives u that garage moster truck-bulidn up kind of feeling. there really could be no room for imporovement.

Violence: 3

yeah ok, some of the weapons are kinda creepy but then again they never really fire and the nuke is not meant to be violent, its just an effect.

Interactivity: 10

Didn't find anything wrong with it there are many places to press and the player is constantly challenged.

Humor: 10

Occasional funny remarks in the animation and plus the robot looks funny at times.

Overall: 8

A good alternative to the female dressup games out there. If your into this stuff u couild probably build the robot of your dreams with this.

not a very good game

Graphics: 3

Okay, I prefer simple, and I think simple is the best. But GOD this game has bad graphics. of all the reviewing I've done in the past years, not giving too many submissions a bad score on graphics, if this game doesn't deserve a low score on graphics, nothing does.

Style: 6

Ok, I like the whole desperado thing that you have going on in the end, and the idea that you can Shoot and Kill annoying characters. but what nothered me was the end: why its so short and ends like it did. you only get to shoot a few guys and thats it.

Sound: 4

Not really bad. funky, actually. just not my style.

Violence: 7

Violence definitely the best attribute, lots of blood and gore. Although you shoot only IMAGINARY characters.

Interactivity: 6

Interactivity is also good for this movie. you have lots of lots of buttons and things to press. but i also notcie that they are pretty pointless to press. you get forward or backward from the menu/ end button which you would anyways by clicking the opponents. and even f you win you still get the same message if you pass w 0 score.

Humor: 5

Mixed Opinions: on the other hand i enjoy it, on the other i ponder should I be enjoying and wasting my time on this.

Overall: 4

tutorial-man responds:

Yes, I had used the charachters from an animation I used along time ago. I submitted this to get peoples thoughts about this game and also suggestions. I am already making a sequel, I'm not sure if it will be a game or a movie.
But thanks for the constructive critisism! I will try harder next time!
Oh! Crap... at first this was just a demo with one frame and I put go to next frame and forgot to change it... Thanks for noticing!

Muumi -style Point and click game

Graphics: 8

I like this style of graphics. Black/ white, simple, no high-rez hoo-ha that people nowadays are wanting to put in their games. It's not for everyone.

But it works for me and it works for this game because of the black and white theme of the nightmare concept. The only thing that's wrong with it is that sometimes the rubble and some details are so messy you can't tell apart what they are.

Style: 10

Walking alone in a dreamy / creepy city trying to do whatever you can...... possibly escaping and possibly dying?

Great. Wish real life was like this.

Sound: 6

The whizzing of wind in the streets and a reaction sound when you move to another place form a solid, realistic soundscape for this flash. Still doesn't quite convince me, though. It feels like you could have done so much better for this flash. Besides, some of the voice acting is used over and over again in other places.

Violence: 3

I committed euthanasia, fished and skinned a fish, by so doing killed a worm and broke a checken egg. That just about adds up the violence for this game.

Interactivity: 8

Even for a game it is very good. This game has lot of action, you need to selfhandedly move in the city from one place to another by clicking the screen at various parts. The only thing that lowers it is that some screens are blank, left without any activity to do.

Humor: 2

Even though some scenes exist that might be interpreted funny, This is not a ROTFLMAO "funny" game. It is only for serious gaming needs. (and who around here isn't serious about games?)

Overall: 7

Ingenius ideas at some parts about how the player has to use the items, like the balloon part and Sand Witch / sandwich parts. In the end, its difficult to evaluate the pointlessness of the adventure. If a score was given for that this might fare even better.

A crappy day With Newgrounds Exp. points is better than a crappy day Without Newgrounds Exp. points. I have had a lot of crappy days.
